Jamie O'Brien and The Wedge
During a solid string of south swells in California, Jamie O'Brien taps into the source and drives his 6' Catch Surf Odysea Skipper through some meaty caves at the Wedge. It still amazes us how many wave riders are pushing the boundaries on what can be done on these boards. Check out the video before and visit CatchSurf.com for more info on these boards.

Big Wedge
We thought that we should do a Flashback segment on the "World Famous" shorebreak that is the Wedge. Here are some YouTube videos that we pulled on Wedge during the some of the biggest swells to hit the Wedge.
The Wedge in Slow Motion
The Wedge is one of the gnarliest shorebreaks not just in California, but in the world. When The Wedge is going off, it is definitely a sight to see. Enjoy this slow motion capture of wave riders enjoying the wedge. The video is from the YouTube page of Brecht Vanthof.
Bodyboard Spot: The Wedge
The Wedge is located in Newport, California. It is probably one of the most revered and feared surfing spots in the world because of how massive the waves can get and how shallow this spot is. This spot hosts all wave riders from Skimboards, Body Surfers, Stand-Up Surfers, and Bodyboarders. It is amazing to see how these wave riders put their bodies on the line when it comes to surfing this spot. Below are some clips which demonstrates the power of this wave. The second video is by photographer: Robbie Crawford, find him on Instagram for more awesome wave photos. Enjoy.
