Snoopy + Stüssy

Stussy have teamed up with the certified comic classic, Peanuts, featuring the ever-so familiar character Snoopy. For Spring/Summer 2012, the two brands have produced this collection for kids, featuring graphics of Snoopy doing various activities, including him laying down that we’re used to seeing, and accompanied by Stussy’s iconic typeface. The collection’s made up of tees, hats and key rings. It’ll be released on June 9th at Stussy Chapter stores

Shred for a Cause!

No. 6 Bodyboards has done something major... With the release of their new RASTA slick bottoms, they are giving back a portion of the proceeds to the Malama Kai Foundation.

The Malama Kai Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to ocean stewardship for current and future generations through community service and public education. Founded in January 1991, Malama Kai Foundation raises funds and implements projects that help conserve Hawaiʻi’s coastal and marine resources, and educate people about these resources.

And we support this wholeheartedly. So if you are thinking of buying a new shred sled, think about a No. 6. Not only are you getting a sick ride, but you're putting back into the ocean, in a positive way.

Disney cruise

Look at these cool pins you can get on the Disney cruise liner to Hawaii. I'm guessing Disney released these pins to commemorate the Aulani resort too.

Shark'ness Monster

When I was a keiki, nothing was cooler than T&C Surf aka Town & Country. I would save up lunch money just to buy stickers.

POGs

Anybody worth their salt in Aloha, would remember these Milkcaps also known as Pogs. Which stands for Pineapple-Orange-Guava juice. These little cardboard discs were once used as a way to cap off bottles. My sources tell me that the POG juice brand started to put characters and other stuff on them, and kids started to collect them like crazy. Then the 90's seen a boom of POGs on the mainland as the game version became popularized. Rules were easy. Each player puts in same amount of Pogs face down in a stack. You take ya' slammah' an bus'up da pile. Whateva lands face up is yours. Boom!!!

Inspired by her love of the sea, surf and the beauty of Hawaii, Heather Brown has gained a worldwide reputation for spreading the Aloha Spirit.  Her unique style of surf art puts a smile on your face and tells a story of happy times. Heather has been a long time supporter of Kokua Hawaii Foundation and designed our popular Plastic Free Haleiwa reusable bags and bottles. This special edition case is just as eco-savvy being made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic in Southern California.

Get your Heather Brown signature Ku’uipo case on the KHF online store and further support us!

On Oahu?  Check out Heather Brown’s solo art exhibit titled “Life At Sea Level” opening at Mu’umu’u Heaven in Kailua on October 20th, with an artist’s reception from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. Heather will be on hand, food and refreshments will be served. “It’s going to be so much fun,” Brown commented. You can also pick up a Ku’uipo iPhone case at Muumuu Heaven!
