Beach Marshall POV

Beeg Todd is the beach Marshall for a reason, because he's big. Duh! Some of the Beach Marshall duties consist of set up and break down, getting the riders ready for their heats, & keeping the surf zone clear of any non competitors. Here's Mike Stewart holding a pair of his 2014 signature MS Viper fins. Interestingly enough, they have the traditional asymmetrical shape like Churchill Makapuu fins. It's definitely a full revolution from Mikes endorsement of the traditional boxy vipers, to the current symmetry of the MS Viper. And now the new for 2014 MS Viper.

Pounders Roundup

The boys from KBB (Kahuku BodyBoarders) put together their annual beach clean up aptly titled Pounders Round Up; named after Pounders Beach in Laie. A great cause with a serious lesson on respecting the 'aina and building community. Oh yeah, there's also a bodyboard comp too. We snatched up some pics. More to come later. Good job KBB.

Poke Festival (Orange County)

Orange County are you ready for the Poke Festival. Brought to you by the good folks from I Love Musubi. Sample poke from Orange County chefs and the first time ever competitor flying in from Las Vegas aka the 9th island.
