- Closest to the peak of the wave has the right of way.
- DON'T DROP IN.
- It's not cool, it's dangerous, and it causes everyone involved to have a bad time.
- DON'T SNAKE
- This is also not cool.
- DON'T PADDLE STRAIGHT INTO THE LINEUP
- Paddle around the lineup towards places that are not as crowded, then make your way towards the main lineup.
- DON'T HOG THE WAVES
- Be respectful to others in the lineup and share the love.
- RESPECT THE LOCALS
- Be mindful of your surroundings and just be respectful in and out of the lineup
- RESPECT THE BEACH
- Don't litter, pick up your trash and dispose of it properly.
- IF YOU ARE A BEGINNER DON'T PADDLE INTO A PACKED LINEUP
- LEARN TO APOLOGIZE
- Everyone messes up, just be the bigger person and apologize for your mistake and everything should smooth over.
- HELP YOUR FELLOW WAVE RIDERS
- If you happen to see a fellow wave rider struggling, just ask if they need help. You just never know, you might save that person's life.
- HAVE FUN
- We like to stress this rule because the person that has the most fun is the best surfer. So have FUN and enjoy the surf!
