You've probably already heard, but yeah not only has Kelly Slater decided to start up a clothing brand, but he has also decided to launch his new board company, Slater Designs. Here at OkShoots, we enjoy the variety of boards that can be used in the surf. With Kelly Slater, an 11-time World Champion, behind the helm of Slater Designs, we think the possibilities of more surfboard innovations will continue to even more progressive designs.
Slater Designs has already launched the brand during last month's Surf Expo 2016 and plans to officially launch for the masses around Spring 2016. So if you're in the market for a new board and have time to wait, there's your timetable.
